The first days with a newborn can pass by in the blink of an eye as you adjust to life with your new arrival. As a newborn photographer, I am privileged to be able to capture those early precious moments for you to share with family and friends and to look back on for years to come.

On the day of your shoot, you’ll be invited to my cosy garden studio where you can relax in comfort with refreshments whilst I prepare your newborn. I’ll start by swaddling (wrapping) baby, which makes them feel warm, safe and secure. Once baby is relaxed they are less likely to become startled and wake up or move during the shoot, helping me to get the perfect shot.

 

As a photographer trained in newborn poses, I will gently manoeuvre baby into safe, comfortable positions. My style of photography is very natural, minimalist and muted and whilst I do have a small selection of simple props that I use during my shoots, baby is the main focus. 

 

My newborn sessions are relaxed & flexible, offering a truly personal touch as we work around your newborn’s naps, feeds and changes. Sessions typically last around 2 hours but can be longer - sessions will be personalised to your baby’s personal needs and schedule.

 

I always love to get a few photos of baby with Mum and other immediate family members too (Dad or Siblings) so they are more than welcome to attend the session with you..
