It's the summer holidays so that can mean only one thing. It’s time to book your back to school photoshoot.

There’s been a trend in recent years for parents to take an insta-worthy traditional child-on-doorstep-in-new-uniform photo with a mobile or tablet for all the family to see. That’s easier said than done though when it’s tipping down with rain or if the sun is in the wrong place. The last thing you want is a photo of a child squinting in the sunlight.

That’s why I’m introducing back to school / first day at school mini photo sessions as a stress free alternative. Sessions typically take 15-20 minutes so there’s no need to rush and unlike the boring and stiffly posed portraits you get from school, my sessions are fun and relaxed with images that are candid but professional.

​On the day of the shoot, you'll join me in my cosy garden studio where you can relax whilst your child dresses in their uniform and settles into their session. I also have a small selection of school related props which they will enjoy using but which won’t be overly distracting so that the focus of the images is on them.

​

Mini sessions are available to book now in August for £45 per session & includes 3 digital images or you can upgrade for an extra £25 and receive 3 matching 9x6 prints, but availability is limited so please book early so that you don’t miss out.
